Take your time, measure twice and then cut to enjoy the ports

Cutting a hole in the table was a little nerve wracking as this box is big and has so many ports. I was careful not to make any accidental scratches or cuts on this large laminated cherry table. The bottom of the box, which slides over the tabletop, has rounded corners. They were quite difficult to chip and sand to ensure a tight fit. A right 90 degree angle would have saved almost half the total cutting time, but I managed to use a Dremel cylindrical sanding drum. The raw edge of the HDMI port on the side of the table was a slightly raw and fairly sharp metal edge with no finish or protective material, but it became less sharp after a few plugs and unplugs of the cable. One of my colleagues suggested using the USB port as a small LED to illuminate the input jacks, as the HDMI connection point is too sharp to mess around with. - I also have to say that I'm glad I made this purchase. The black brushed metal finish is very elegant and the door has a slow closing feature that gives this box a premium look.
