What kind of?!. for Kettle

Why does this kettle have a high rating? I used it on my glass electric stove for 2 days and am disappointed. Not worth it if I have to improvise to use the product. - The lid has to be removed before pouring, which splashes HOT water on the stove and on me! So I don't attach the lid anymore. I just put it on top. After pouring you have to wipe the spout as it doesn't drip so I have to use both an oven mitt and kitchen towel to wipe the spout.
