We never know what type of weather we are going to get in early November in Minnesota. I have actually gone swimming one year and other years froze my backside off. I was never a Boy Scout but I do try to be prepared.which can be challenging. I love to deer hunt and the last few years it has been rather cold in early November. If I dress up too warm, I sweat after the long walk to my stand. So, I have been freezing more than once. A hunting buddy told me that he attaches a blanket to his backpack and if he starts to get cold, he just wraps himself up in it. When a deer comes along, he can quickly and quietly take the blanket off or even just slowly standing up allows it to just fall off providing more freedom to carefully move.This all sounded like a great idea to me so I started my search for a blanket that would work well out in the woods. The first blanket I ordered didn't provide the warmth I was looking for and it was too noisy to have out in the deer stand.This is the second blanket I tried. I am very happy I did! I was in the basement and a little chilled so I wrapped this around myself and within 15 seconds I started to feel the warmth. WOW! Very fast! It is also very soft and comfortable. I then stood up and let it fall off me a couple times to determine how noisy it was. This Oceas puffy, camping blanket was whisper quiet. Very nice indeed. To top it all off, it has a handy elastic strap to assist in keeping it rolled up during storage and transporting. It fits nicely on my backpack too.The only critique, but not enough to knock off a star, is that nice carrying case is a bit too small. You have to roll it up just right and VERY tight to have a chance in cramming it in there.This Oceas puffy, camping blanket will definitely make it out to my deer stand.Even though I received this product through the Vine program I always review items as though I paid for them. If you look at my other reviews, you will see that I don't rate everything high.
