I took it for Skype, it will do. But as I understood from YouTube presentations, you can take something cheaper for Skype (for example, C-110). And if you need something more or less decent in terms of quality, then it is better to take the S-270. Pros: This is my first camera. Image quality is still very average. Installs easily. For Skype, it might even be better to use without software. Cons: Noise and low resolution are noticeable, even in a small window. The white balance can be set to a decent one, but for some reason my settings crash every time I turn it on (W7). The driver also crashed once.
