I wanted compact and lightweight binoculars for bird watching, boating or sports. I really like these binoculars as I can wear the glasses and not have to take them off. I used them to watch birds sitting on the roof of a barn in a field near my house. Easy to set up. The neck strap is easy to attach. Small enough to fit in my purse. If I come back to see the community theater I will use it too. I read all the reviews, I'm happy with the purchase, I recommend.
