NO, they are not lined with sherpa or anything else, they are normal fleece material. I love them, they make me happy every time I look into my living room! They are incredibly soft, my children are already attached to them. I wrap my legs like a big skirt at night and one like a cape when I'm watching TV! It's been 105 degrees here and I use them all the time as I'm cold and my family is short tempered. They're not electrically white, they are white, but I would say they're a bit softer than white candles. I washed them before using them together when I bought a pair and they are perfect.
