This is the FIRST moisturizer that's just right for you! I just finished my course on Accutane (a seriously drying acne remedy) and I only wish I had found this sooner. This is the ONLY moisturizer I've found that doesn't burn/irritate/itch my skin in the slightest. Even Cetaphil and Cerave moisturizers irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. After Accutane, I started using Retin-A topically, which resulted in flaking and burning of the skin. Now I wash my face and while it's wet I apply it, wait for it to absorb and my face to dry, then apply Retin-A. There is absolutely NO irritation on my face. The crazy thing is that my whole life I've thought "burning is good, redness is normal." But my dermatologist told me a very different story. You don't want redness! This is a sign of inflammation and will only cause more damage. Now my face looks so smooth and most importantly NORMAL. Not dry, scaly, irritated or anything like that. And thanks to Accutane, I had the most devastated skin barrier (eczema and all!). This moisturizer is: - fragrance-free (so odor 5/5 because fragrances are useless in skincare and are only for marketing purposes. irritates the skin) - contains pathenol (known as a sedative) - affordable - has a good dispenser (squeeze and twist the tube) - doesn't irritate acne (doesn't clog my very clogged pores lol) - is gentle on sensitive skin (you know it's bad when Neutrogena Hydroboost causes tingling for dry skin.) - light yet creamy. Better than Eucerin, Neutrogena, Cetaphil and Cerave moisturizers. Seriously, that's the only thing that feels really good on my skin and doesn't burn or irritate my skin! If you are nervous, please try! The skin didn't get any better :)
