Most of the time I see these rails, they are described as being used to build 3D printers. But they have a wide range of uses, including furniture and caravan conversions. Basically they're like kits, you can build things but it's easy to change, attach/detach etc. I haven't used this stuff yet but I see its potential. As a rule, it is not clear from the description what exactly they consist of and whether there are any differences. For the most part, they all appear to be the same aluminum construction. It's more a matter of price and how well made they are. There is a misconception, 80/20 is NOT any type of aluminum or rail. This is a company logo, a dot and has nothing to do with what you are looking for. The numbers 2020, 4040, etc. are the rail size plus the length measurement. I like this set although I can't build much with this amount but a good start. It has good opacity, straight lines and good edges.
