These are the only jackets I have been buying for my son for a number of years (as he grows). He even wears them in Seattle during the winter. Only when the temperature is below zero and he says he's warm enough do I send him to school in a thicker coat. I buy a size up so he can wear it for two years and it has worked well because the sleeves are stretchy and the hood fits more snugly and stays on my head even if the jacket is a bit too big. We recommend this brand to all our friends because it's durable and great for rain!
