To be honest, I think they're great! I've tried others and they've either fallen apart (the string of beads snapped) or the wire combs have bent so badly that I had to throw them away. These work perfectly! I am almost 70 years old and had two shoulder prostheses. I got so frustrated trying to get another brand to work because they were difficult to use and WON'T stretch. I can put these combs in quickly and they stay. I work out every day and wear earphones and my combs stay in place even when I take the headphones off and on and sweat! I would say my hair would be considered medium thick. I received all colors. In fact, I liked them so much that I ordered another pack!
