I've been running (with mixed success) for 13 years but only recently discovered the benefits of beetroot juice. However, if you're like me and can't even stand the thought of drinking this crap on a regular basis, this is what you need. I don't run very long distances (most of my runs are five miles or less) and I'm sure those who run a lot more miles will benefit even more, but I can say I haven't felt uncomfortable. tired as i took them 2-3 times a day especially after my annual thanksgiving 8k race which i still felt amazingly refreshed after crossing the finish line.
