I never thought I would write a review of the ball let alone praise it too much. but here i am Ha ha. Anyway, this ball was really great. We bought this for our 1 year old and our nanny liked it so much she bought it for her dog (can't comment on how well it held the dog as I have no personal experience with it). ). What I can say is that it is light and easy to grab for our child. It is durable in that we step on it, it is easily crushed but then returns to its original state without damage. It leaves no marks, so if thrown at objects like a wall, it will not leave marks on the surface. It's also light enough that if our kid throws it at objects like a vase, it will bounce and not knock the vase off. I'm sure it won't be the case with every shot at the vase, but the point is that it's light enough to be a fairly safe ball "in the house" with an overall safe handling. I never thought I would write such a good review of the ball and here I am doing just that. This is a really good product.
