Shakers are quite large but you can store quite a lot of spices in them - not really a complaint but more of an observation. They have a very classic design and the holder is a nice touch to the cookware's aesthetic value. Conventional iodized salt crystals will seep into the cap lacing grooves on the shaker itself, but this is only a problem when the cap is unscrewed; Hold it over the sink while you unscrew them and you won't have a problem. I would buy this product again.
