I have a CD player with a USB port and I use my old iPhone to listen to music and podcasts through the USB port. Now I've updated my phone and the new USB C type charger won't let me do that. So I bought a Bluetooth and it didn't work, then I bought this one and to my surprise it works perfectly. You plug it into a USB port, connect add-on cables from the Bluetooth device to the stereo add-on device, and connect the phone to the device. I am very surprised, this is exactly what I was looking for, I have a bluetooth headphone which I now use to call people and listen to music on my stereo. It actually switches back after I hang up. I'm very happy with this little gadget, I've only had it 2 days... I'll update the review in the future, but if anyone has had this dilemma before, how to connect a new iPhone to an older stereo seems like a good option . The sound quality is okay. It's good. Not perfect sound, but better than radio quality
