Need a very compact USB-C adapter with HDMI, GBE, PD and some working USB A/ C like at least USB 3.0 5Gb/s. It fitted perfectly and as an anchor had a shot at good quality and above average reliability. The only thing that would be even better is 10g/3.1 Gen 2 speed, but it's not really critical in my use case. Full functionality confirmed on two devices: Specter 13t on TB3 port and ZBook on TB3 and 10g USB. Port C (Hub by StarTech): ✅ Multi-resolution HDMI output ✅ Full-speed GBE on both LAN and WAN ✅ PD via two different chargers ✅ Full-speed USB 3.0 on NVME drive and high-speed flash drive ✅ Ability to charge my Note10 phone from both ports A and C (which the product description says doesn't work here!) ✅ Ability to control ALL devices simultaneously with or without a PD connected! (I suspect this works due to the connection to the TB3 ports on the side of the laptop and may not work if the ANCHOR was plugged directly into the USB C 3.1 Gen 1 port). ✅ Heats up slightly when fully loaded, i.e. acceptable. Device for my needs, fits very well in my laptop bag due to the narrow cross-section. One note: I had to update the RealTek network drivers on my Specter 13 or it caused a BSOD. The Win10 update package available directly from RealTek was used and the issue has been resolved. While I don't know in detail why this happened with the (very old) default RealTek network driver in Win10, some people have suggested that it might be a conflict with the wireless network driver in a Windows or HP device driver update acts. Recoverable and not directly related to the device as a reason, so the stars are not removed. Recommended.
