We rescued a 3 year old dog who has been a street dog his whole life and needed help to turn him into an inner child. She likes to be outside and our yard is not fenced. She also needs help to homeschool her. We decided that a peg and long line would be a good option. Within a week she was being taught to walk to the door and had me put her on a leash so she could play outside. The cord is thin enough to go under the door and I can hook and unhook it while it's inside. We've been using it for about 3 months now, so far so good. A typical terrier mix, she loves to explore and will wrap around trees, poles and chairs so the long length is practical but also makes it difficult to relax. Despite the fact that she wraps around things, the cord is held. When it gets cold I plan to take a shorter one so he can't hike that far. I will take this brand again as it has worked for me.
