Stronger than plastic clips
For attaching a mirror to the back of a chess cabinet. The old plastic clips broke when we moved, so I wanted something stronger. Metal clips are definitely stronger. I had to be careful with the placement, when tightening the fastening screws the rubber tips sometimes slipped out of the C-end.
