This thing works great and the battery lasted 4 hours 35 minutes on my first charge. This piece is super light and comes with a short ear piece so you can clip it to your shirt collar at the end. If you need longer phones, you can use another one with it. I've never seen a Bluetooth device this small and light that lasted more than 4 hours. Most I have barely last 3 hours and are much heavier. I like them way better than the Motorola ones which wrap around my head and never fit my ears. I'm a walker, not a runner, but it seems to suit me. As far as I know, the only way they can improve on this is by increasing the battery life even further. I have another device that fits my motorcycle helmet and lasts 14 hours and I've even been known to use it. i like my music
