Works when the iPhone is connected to the car stereo audio jack. The car is 13 years old. Cable length is great, sound is good. The cable is slightly different as the outer jacket appears to be some type of fiber. It's definitely not too rigid, but I'm concerned about how long the cable construction will last. However, it appears to be a decent cable at a good price.
