Like most of you I have read the other reviews. And I've had a lot of steamboats over the years. So I decided to buy this one. And I really like him. For those who say it's cheap, it's not. I think if you clean it respectfully this steamer will last for years. This is a regular steamer for less than $20. get real What do you expect? Interestingly, it has 3 stackable layers. It seems to me that the first layer closest to the evaporating water gets more steam and cooks faster. This is where I put carrots and items that last longer. Experiment with it. It's really compact and serves its purpose.
