Buy literally any tree stand but this one.
So I didn't think $70-150 was reasonable for a tree stand. This $40 looked solid and stylish enough. Lesson learned as I now had to buy a second tree stand - one that actually works. The metal feet will not snap, pinch, or jam into the bottom of the stand. When you tighten the side screws to hold the log in place, they force the metal legs away from the plastic base, resulting in catastrophic failure. The legs fall out below and everything falls to the ground. An absolute waste.
