I was very excited to try this Kindle keyboard and really wanted to like it. I thought having an accessible keyboard to use with the Kindle would be a great help, especially at my work; it would save me from having to carry my laptop with me everywhere. When it arrived it was light and thin as promised, but it also flexed in the middle, making it almost impossible to sit flat on a smooth surface. It also made typing very awkward, because as soon as I pressed a key on one side of the keyboard, the opposite side would pop out, etc. The keyboard shook all over, and this, combined with the very small key layout, resulted in a typing fiasco. When I got the keyboard, I found that there was no way to protect the keyboard when I wasn't actively using it - there was no protective case or anything. When I tried to buy it separately, all the keyboard cases I found already contained the keyboard. I ended up buying one of these - I should have done it much better from the start as the price of a keyboard with a case was almost the same as what I paid for that keyboard alone. Bottom line: don't buy this keyboard. Buy a keyboard case - you get a lot more for your money and it will be much more comfortable to use.
