Review on πŸ” Nikon Trailblazer 8x25 ATB: Powerful Waterproof Binoculars in Sleek Black Design by Caleb Eichbauer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good quality with cheap accessories

These ultra compact binoculars have very good optics and the body feels solid. They do have some weight, but only as much as you would expect from a solid pair of binoculars of this size. The optics are sharp, razor sharp and exceptionally bright for such a small lens diameter. The cheapest part are the eyecups. Does not meet normal Nikon standards. Retractable cups are the type that twist to retract but are loose and flexible. Nothing forces them to stay put. A simple click on the eyes can make them come back. It's a shame as the normal mechanism used on other Nikons would have been ideal. There is little friction to keep them in place. Also, when fully retracted, you can no longer use them with glasses like other Nikons. You just don't have eye relief to get the full field of view. Taking off your glasses gives you a full view, but it's tedious.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Very expensive
