My house built 1963 - - original oak floors. I have bar stool height chairs that are in constant use with kitchen island countertop - - sliding back & forth constantly. Also I have various furniture items from 19th century antique cherry dressers to modern-day Pottery Barn iron-legged side tables. Again, movement on the oak floors.I have purchased other sets of felt pads from AMZN. The felt pads get knocked off so easily. A real pain to keep replacing the dang things every few days. I hit paydirt with these pads. Hallelujah.I put them on the feet of the bar stools a couple of months ago, not a shred of a problem since. These pads are high quality, they adhere well to any 'foot' of my varied items & they are inexpensive. Highly recommended if this is what you need resolved. Just a really great product, a keeper as resource for years to come.
