I purchased a 12 gallon Umbra Swinger trash can for our new home. The bin arrived quickly and in perfect condition (thanks Revain!), but it has two major design flaws: First, I put a 13-gallon tall kitchen garbage bag inside the tank, which fits snugly. When I put the lid back on the jar, the lid pierced the pouch on both sides where it snapped onto the base. It's not a big deal, but it does loosen up the bag when you take it off. The second disadvantage is that the lid of the can sinks into the can during use, reducing the amount of waste it can hold. The liner of my trash bag isn't even 2/3 full and the trash can bumps into the trash when opening. This is a real deal breaker for me. I don't want to use more trash bags than I already have to put in this trash can and I don't want the lid touching the trash.
