The clip is not strong enough to hold a lot of hair.
I was hoping but it doesn't work for me. I have thick hair and this thing barely holds a lot of hair. To do this, you need to use tiny strands of hair that are just barely held by the clip. Big disappointment. Hardly any curls as the clip can't hold the hair around the wand.
