The laces look like they are made out of thin, somewhat slippery material. This means that when I try to tighten the bottom laces, they keep slipping back without even catching on it while I'm trying to tie the laces. They still feel good after lacing up and putting them on, but I wouldn't have bought them if I knew the quality of the lace is so poor. Also note that these shoes weigh about twice as much as the GOrun Ultras. So if you choose Sketcher because you like how light they are compared to say Asics, I would avoid them all together.
