Review on 🧵 DIMENSIONS Needlepoint Kit, Tuscan View, 12x16 inches by Kelsey Brown

First of all. Before I ordered this set I was confident that if I ran out of thread Dimensions would send me what I needed. It is not true. The package even includes a phone number you can call to change filament. I ran out of a few colors and called the number on the box just to get an email link. I emailed them as instructed and got a reply today with a LONG list of DMC and Anchor threads that would go well together. .not exactly, but close. From the list, I had to search local stores and the internet to find what I needed. No online or offline store had all the colors I needed. I ordered the thread I needed at my own expense. Not a big sum, but still my money. So bottom line, while I really like this set, Tuscan View, I only got about 1/4 of the way and I may or may not need more spare filament, and then I have to go through this whole process again. I used all the threads very sparingly, except for one color that had to be cut off. I am very disappointed that Dimensions (Simplicity) have changed their policies. They should remove the 800 number from the packages. UPDATE 4/1/21. I was able to buy what I needed from Michael personally. The problem was that the replacement colors were for areas that were already sewn together and didn't match the DMC replacement colors offered by Dimensions, some were close and some were completely different shades of colour. None of them can be used in areas near already crafted areas. The difference is very noticeable. They only gave a choice for DMC and Anchor (which I couldn't find anywhere). It would add to the cost of the finished project, but if I see a Dimensions kit that I really like I might consider ordering it and buying the DMC Colors (from the table above) for large areas, backgrounds, etc. and replace it with the floss from the kit. That doesn't seem fair, does it?
