I read reviews of several leather laptop cases I was considering buying before deciding on this one. Some of these reviews pointed to an unpleasant odor associated with the leather the bag is made of. I didn't experience that with my purchase. It was ready to use on day one. I am very happy with the bag. Looks decent. I especially like to wear it around my neck on the opposite shoulder. It's more comfortable and secure than carrying it on the same shoulder I carried my previous crossbody bag on. Ideal for laptops and other necessary items.
