Adding this light to my 4 x 4 box with an existing 150w light increased the temperature by 20 degrees when the temperature in the garage was 40 degrees! So if you have a really small area to grow, consider the heat this light will reject. before the purchase. But take it from a 45-year-old gardener who built his own HPS and MH bulbs from 70W to 1000W. This is a well constructed light that is hard to beat at any price.
