Did you know that curling irons can add warmth to the ends of your hair? It's not like this! I have a lot of long thick hair that takes 20-30 minutes to curl with a wand etc. It took me five minutes to curl my hair and when I woke up my hair was curled better than with any wand . The clip was helpful in holding the pink tube (what do we even call it?) in place while I wrapped my hair around it, but I didn't find it necessary as the hair and hair ties were all in place and tidy hold position. all night. Tip: I've heard the key to success is to wrap your hair when it's 90% dry. I did that and it worked great. I've also wrapped my hair in strands (almost like grabbing strands of hair while braiding) which keeps my hair from being one big curl or two. I didn't have the instructions so this might be helpful. :)
