I bought this system, water tastes good when it works. I was still struggling with the mud dropping the water nozzle. I couldn't believe the filter was already full since the spec says 6000 gallons. We're a family of two and only use this filter for drinking water, maybe a few gallons of water a day if I'm being generous. I can't get any of these filters to last more than 3 months. And with a 3 month lifespan and 6000 gallon capacity, that works out to 65 gallons a day that we drink. Is it possible that instead of 6000 they don't even mean 600 gallons? I bought the correct 3 meter replacement cartridges and this performance is pathetic and very expensive considering say $150 per cartridge. That would mean almost $2 a day or $1 a gallon, which is very, very expensive. I live in Portland, Oregon, which already has decent water so this filter doesn't have to work too hard. I do not recommend this product.
