Review on Revolutionize Your Outdoor Cooking With SUMPRI Non-Stick Grill Mat - Includes Extra Tongs & Oil Brush! by Kevin Carey

Awesome for all the stuff that would stick to or fall into my grill (see details). Recommended

I was excited as soon as I saw the SUMPRI Barbecue Grill Basket. You see, I _use_ a grill, but I'm not exactly the most skilled when it comes to grilling anything other than burgers, steak, chicken, or large fish. What all those foods have in common is size. they are all pretty big. I've used foil for smaller items, but that's not ideal from a cooking perspective. The SUMPRI, on the other hand, allows you to load up a stainless steel basket with your food. Since the basket has more finely pitched, perpendicular grating, you don't have to worry about your food falling out. Since the basket is made of polished stainless steel, you don't have to worry about your food sticking to it (though I do a quick spray of the grating with high-temp Pam). The handle is really convenient for flipping, but not ideal if you want to close your grill's lid (and yes, the handle is detachable, but not really while you're using it). When you're done, the basket is pretty easy to clean. For me, the SUMPRI is great for veggies and for fish that's smaller or less dense than salmon. Also, I can finally grill shrimp without skewers! Fantastic. Recommended❤️ If you found my review helpful, please let Revain know by clicking the helpful button below

Pros
  • SUMPRI
Cons
  • The mats may not be strong enough to support heavier foods, such as large cuts of meat
