Do you have right hand pain from traditional mice (mice? mice? mice?) that you have to physically drag around the table? Do you find yourself favoring your left hand more and more when doing everyday tasks that you don't normally prefer? Do you like to pretend your computer accessories are futuristic weapons? Then this mouse will solve some of them. The ball tracker is pretty good, although I've found that my computer registers speeds differently between this and my gaming mouse, so I have to adjust it every time I switch back. I love the laser pointer, although unfortunately I'm the cutest but dumbest cat in the world (as mentioned in other recent product reviews). Don't use a laser pointer very often. The only thing that annoys me is that even if I turn the mouse off when not in use, this suction cup drains AAA batteries at a completely frustrating rate. So at least I can pretend it's a futuristic weapon.
