Fits as expected. Genuine Toyota part. Toyota sealed. Don't listen to people who say they smelled like gas or they got spare parts. Totally insane reviews. Obviously they just wanted a refund and sent their aftermarket crap back to Amazon I bet. I almost hesitated because of this, but figured if this is the case I'll be refunded. The reason I bought this was because I knocked a few days ago after taking the gas cap off my 98 4runner. It flew off the fuel filler cap and landed and I broke off a piece of the threaded portion of my original cap. Works perfectly! Fits snugly, allows 3-4 clicks and that's it. I can tell a huge difference screwing on this new one. My last one will click forever, this one stops. So happy! Trust me die-hard Toyota enthusiast spending money on this genuine part. Note that aftermarket caps do not always provide a proper seal and can cause the check engine light to come on.
