I was pleasantly surprised that they are quite long as I'm 6ft 6in tall. They don't go all the way to the top of the foot, but at least over the tips of the toes. It's great and they are very comfortable. Support bands keep your feet feeling great. I wore them in 40 degrees in the morning and 80 degrees in the afternoon and I didn't get too cold or too hot. I'm not sure I want to go far beyond that framework. so I'm considering a CW-X shorts for the summer. On colder days I just wear something lighter over the pants. The only thing I didn't like was that after the first wash (inside out) the reflective emblems started to crack and fall off . After 5 washes they lost about 1/3. They have to find out, otherwise they would be perfect.
