Neat design but not quite what I had in mind

I love to tidy and I have a bedroom closet that always needs a new storage solution so was i'm glad to find him. I liked the idea of a non-fabric hanging storage that could (obviously) be infinitely adjustable. After assembling these shelves I have mixed feelings about the whole concept. Firstly, all of the components appear to be fairly well made. The plastic is very strong and the clasps hold everything together very well. I'm not at all afraid of it breaking or falling apart, maybe just bending a little depending on what's stored on it. The assembly is also relatively easy. Figuring out what configurations I wanted to make was the hardest part. The clips snap in and out fairly easily (although perhaps not the best option for weaker hands). Once they're on, they stay on just fine. The package includes a brief diagram with suggested assembly diagrams. However, I ran out of parts long before I wanted to. I had no idea how little you can earn with just one set. I was hoping to use the extra pieces as backs for open shelving but didn't even have enough for that. I was at least glad I had enough clamps (2 left). The shelves fold very compactly, although this makes them easy to accidentally fall off before hanging. I don't quite understand why anyone would need this feature. I hung them from a pole in the closet so they are just off the floor, although they are short. I could fit decent stacks of jeans, shorts, and gym wear on it, and the only part that bothers me about the weight is the jeans (they curve a bit). Everything else is holding up fine. I'm a bit disappointed as it doesn't hold as many clothes as I could fit on hangers at this bar. I also wish it came with a bunch of extra parts and clips for a more versatile design, especially considering the price. Overall, it's not quite the space-saving miracle I was hoping for. But it's not a bad solution, especially for things that can't or shouldn't hang on hangers, and it's a lot stronger than traditional fabric shelf hangers. UPDATE: Those "shelves" aren't very strong. In just a few weeks of storing clothes, they are already terribly warped (see photo). Apparently the denim stack is too big for these things. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Price that breaks the piggy bank
