Update 05/26/21: Charger only works sporadically - my drive home took 1.5 hours and my iPhone X battery is 20% empty. A warranty request sent 27 days ago was never answered. Avoid this device if you intend to use it for more than 6 months! Overall, this is a good charger for my iPhone X. The phone charges with the rubber case attached, as does my wireless charger at home. The motorized clip was a nice surprise, but the motion sensor can be a little annoying when it's empty and parked with the power on when your hands are close to the device. The USB-C cable still requires a USB port, which my 2010 car doesn't have, so I use cigarette lighter sockets. After 6 months the charger fails and the power seems to run out. I'm still trying to determine if it's the USB port or an internal error. I work A LOT in the car and over the past few weeks my phone has been disconnected several times due to intermittent charging. I'll post an update when I can isolate the problem.
