1950's Canner Restoration

Takes patience but it fits. We're trying to run my grandmother's autoclave from the 1950's. Pleased with possible spare parts. At first glance, the ring seems too big. But you just keep sticking it in the slot, always going around the lid. Lots of twists, but just keep pushing and pushing across the lid. Great excitement in the family when he finally got up. We haven't done a test run yet, but we really hope it will be like new. I had to swap a few more.
