This came in really handy for me when I was working from home. I didn't get any of it and instead just moved my laptop up and down from a large stack of books, sort of a troublesome version of a sit-and-stand desk. This aluminum stand performs much better and takes up much less space when loaded! It's very light but strong enough for my laptop. In fact, I have to put a lot of pressure on it to move it up and down. I assume it can handle something heavier than my small work laptop. It has nice rubberized edges that protect anything you put on it and minimal bounce when typing on a laptop keyboard. All in all, this is a big win for the relatively low cost and labor involved of the kitchen countertop era.
