I'm 5'8", 170 lbs, waist 35". The fabric is similar to that of a t-shirt. The machine washes well, no problems in the dryer. It's incredibly comfortable. Drawcords at the waist and sides gather the fabric without adding bulk. The ability to close buttons bottom-up has an unexpected benefit; By only buttoning the bottom two or three buttons, you get the benefits of the pants (you can sit cross-legged without worrying about people seeing your skirt) AND the benefits of the skirt (airflow, flattering silhouette) . If this was the apocalypse (right?) I would only be wearing these bottoms and some kind of sports bra. With COVID I teach online. I can wear a nice blouse with this skirt and feel comfortable without feeling like I'm in pajamas. I also like the deep pockets; I drop my keys, wallet and phone and go for a walk without worrying about my wallet. I am writing this because I have returned to the product to purchase a second pair. Why hasn't anyone come up with the idea of sewing clothes according to this pattern?!?
