I've only used the light for three hours but I'm incredibly satisfied! The overhead light in my home office is not bright and I prefer to work in low light. I don't have room for a lamp on my desk. When I work remotely my desktop interface is filled with laptop, monitor, laptop and desktop all in one device. This strip of light is the solution. It fits well on the monitor and both computers. The light bar turns off when the display it's connected to goes to sleep. It takes about two minutes to charge the lightbar after turning on the screen. Some people might find this annoying, but I don't. You can always adjust the sleep settings on your computer to make the lamp work for you. I highly recommend the light bar.
