I bought this beach bag because it was PINK and had a waterproof lining to carry slippers and a wet bathing suit. After receiving it, I decided not to put my wet stuff in it because then I would have to remove the dry stuff. So I only carry a wet zippered bag with me. The waterproof lining is still valuable to me because if the ziploc bag leaks it will leak out of the beach bag onto the car seat, floor etc unless that bag had a waterproof lining. The zip works great, and there are two interior side compartments, both of which have zips (I carry my phone and reading glasses in one, and my mini wallet and ponytail holder in the other). My photos show a full zipped beach bag, an empty beach bag to show the inner zipped pockets, contents I carry easily in a beach bag (on the counter), and then a beach bag full of contents off the counter. . The contents are mine and didn't come with the beach bag in case you're wondering! LOL When the bag is empty, it folds up, which is very convenient for storage. I can take two large beach towels; my bathing suit (pink) and my beach cape (blue); my slippers in a zippered bag; hand cream; a container of shampoo, conditioner, cleanser, face lotion; and then the items in the two side pockets.
