My house is an acre of pottery and I live in the middle of the desert so my tiles get "crispy" before they get visibly dirty. I'm a single adult living with an adult cat, so I deal with quite a bit of cat tumbleweed as well. I hate cleaning and especially I hate washing floors. It takes me almost two hours to vacuum and then mop the whole floor. I end up so sweaty that I have to wipe off the sweat that drips onto the floor. I had a Hoover Floormate and it was a piece of junk. It didn't clean the floor very well, I had to carry this cord around the whole creation, it was noisy and I gave it away for free to get rid of it. It's better than the Floormate by a country mile. It's not too noisy and I can clean most important areas of the house on a single charge. This is not a deep clean. It doesn't clean joints. It's quick and easy to use. He gets balls of cat hair, dead bugs, etc., and I get a decent amount of dirt in the waste water tank (her term, not mine). I use it more than a mop so the floor stays cleaner and cleaning takes less time. It's a virtuous circle. but I still think it's a good product. Cleaning the tank is easy, and while it makes a lot of noise when loading, I just leave it in the wash where I can't hear it. Hair and sand do not clog the sink.
