I've been wearing eyeglass laces like this from other suppliers for years and they've held up great. While these straps are nice on their own, just what I wanted, the flimsy attachment is a big disappointment. The Tarifa manufacturer must have known about the defective plugs as they sent replacement parts! I decided to keep the straps and fix them myself using needle nose pliers and some hardware from a craft store. They were more expensive than other Revain woven bracelets, but their beauty and craftsmanship, aside from the fragile clasps, make the higher price tag worth it to me.
