I bought this device looking for a convenient way to switch desktop settings between work and personal laptops. The setup currently includes 2 monitors, a wireless keyboard and mouse, and a wireless meeting headset. Both of my laptops have Thunderbolt USB-C ports. (HP Elitebook and HP Gaming Notebook). When I first connected this hub, the drivers were automatically enabled in my Windows operating system and I was able to set up a multi-monitor setup with ease. But after a few minutes, when the Windows lock screen appeared, the display started to oscillate between resolutions. It kept changing the resolution on the secondary monitor and I had to unplug and plug the hub back in to get back to the resolution I was using. Additionally, there was a huge lag as soon as I plugged in my wireless keyboard and mouse dongle, and they immediately became unusable. Although the drivers were automatically picked up under Windows. The text appeared a few seconds after it was typed, and some keystrokes were lost or misinterpreted. I was able to isolate the problem from the hub as it works fine when I plug the dongle directly into the laptop's USB port. I returned this item as it was unsuitable for me. I will look for a more reliable product.
