Our 20lbs - 6 month old dog loves this so much she tries to wear it as much as possible. The unfortunate part about that is she won't drink water while wearing it. Might grow out of that but for now we let her wear it for times when she doesn't need to (because we think she thinks it looks cool). Our dog does not get scared or need it for things like lightning or loud noise, she could care less for anything like that. We guess she just really appreciates it and overall likes the look/comfort. We would suggest that the front padding around the neck be longer or maybe something to stay in place, it seems to work its way to reveal the adjustment which may become a problem. The other growing concern is the control from having the rear leash attachment. It seems to work but having one just in front of the grab handle would likely be better, again for control.
