Just used this key on my 17 year old Prius for the first time. It is great! First, it has a deeper profile with small slots that fit over the lugs on the oil filter cover. (You need to orient this wrench properly so it slides over those lugs!) Second, it fits a large 27mm hex wrench OR a 3/8" socket wrench. The 27mm head is great for a broken bar. If your lid is really frozen (like it was after I asked the dealer for an oil change - I swear they have to use an impact wrench for everything!) let it go and then turn it back on after replacing the filter cartridge. And also for correct tightening up to 25 Nm. The dealer-sold silver key has none of these qualities - I quickly rounded up the Toyota key (when trying to use it on that frozen cap - those dealers be damned!). I recommend this product!
