Replace Hose Coupling From Start

I was disappointed when my expensive new grease gun got more grease out of the fitting than in. I replaced the clutch with a clutch from my old Alemite lever gun and that fixed the problem. It's handy when you can just pull the trigger when you crawl under a truck. Smeared two dump trucks and two cars and a battery meter in half. The gun worked well and was easy to load. However, what doesn't impress me is that grease smears across the top of the gun when you open the fill valve. Whether it's under a truck or greasing a bulldozer, there always seems to be a drop of grease coming out of the end of the hose after it's removed from the transom. I don't have that with my handguns. After the first day of use I'm not sure if it was money well spent.
