Review on Dexter Russell 012 5SK 5 Inch Skinning Knife by Chris Mickens

After watching Captain Russo's YouTube video on how to fillet a perch, I grabbed this one. After a good sharpening (it's not as sharp as delivered) I tested it on a big red. It works much better than thin fillet knives. You can put your finger on the edge and use the curved part of the knife to do the job much more precisely and easily. It's so good I gave it to my fishing buddy. As another reviewer mentioned, the knife isn't stainless steel, so be sure to dry it after washing - no big deal. I bought this along with the AccuSharp 001 knife sharpener and this tool has to be the best sharpener I have ever used.
